Knight Flower is a historical and action-comedy drama about Jo Yeo-hwa (Lee Ha-nee), a woman who leads a double life. By day, she embraces the role of a serene widow, gracefully navigating through 15 years of a quiet and unassuming existence. However, when night falls, she turns into a hero who secretly helps people in need.
The series was directed by Jang Tae-yoo, who previously held Lovers of the Red Sky (2021), Hyena (2020), as well as the award-winning dramas My Love From the Star (2013-2014) and Tree With Deep Roots (2011).
It was the first primetime MBC drama to premiere in 2024. It aired every Friday and Saturday, occupying a time slot previously occupied by The Story of Park Marriage’s Contract and soon to be taken over by Wonderful World.
Knight Flower achieved a peak rating of 18.4% during its finale, making it one of the highest rated Kdramas in free-to-air TV since 2016.
