Goodbye Earth poster 2

Goodbye Earth

This sci-fi series follows three individuals as they navigate the challenges posed by an asteroid rapidly approaching Earth, with collision expected in 200 days.

Where to Watch

Goodbye Earth is an apocalyptic drama that follows three individuals as they navigate the chaotic final 200 days before an asteroid strikes Earth. With no way to avoid the impending disaster, their lives descend into despair and chaos, yet hope flickers amidst the looming end of the world.

Starring Ahn Eun-jin, the Netflix original series was initially scheduled to premiere in 2023, but its release date was changed after its former lead actor, Yoo Ah-in, tested positive for illegal drug use and started to face trial. The issue led to another round of re-editing to remove as many scenes as possible featuring Yoo, which significantly reduced the importance of his character.

The drama is helmed by Kim Jin-min, who previously directed two Korean originals for Netflix, namely, My Name (2021) and Extracurricular (2020). It is adapted from a Japanese novel by Kōtarō Isaka.
