Connection is a psychological crime thriller that centers on ace detective Jang Jae-kyung (Ji Sung), whose world shatters when he’s forcibly addicted to drugs. Fueled by the mysterious death of a friend, he dives into the shadows to untangle a 20-year web of twisted connections and expose a conspiracy reaching the heights of power. Teaming with audacious reporter Oh Yoon-jin (Jeon Mi-do), their relentless search for truth leads them down a treacherous path of danger and corruption.
The drama is helmed by Kim Moon-kyo, who directed Trolley (2022) and Lovers of the Red Sky (2021), and written by Lee Hyun, known for Diary of a Prosecutor (2019). It will air on SBS every Friday and Saturday starting May 24, 2024, replacing the currently airing series The Escape of the Seven: Resurrection.
