The first season of The Uncanny Counter made history after achieving the highest TV rating for any program on cable channel OCN—a record that still holds true today. However, Counter Punch aired on tvN, OCN’s sister network.
The original main cast of season 1, including Jo Byeong-kyu, Yoo Jun-sang, Kim Se-jeong, Yeom Hye-ran, and Ahn Suk-hwan, reprised their roles while new faces Yoo In-soo, Kang Ki-young, Kim Hieora, and Jin Seon-kyu joined the sequel.
