In Sweet Home 2, the battle for survival continues as Green Home apartment’s survivors, including Cha Hyun-soo (Song Kang), face new challenges in the outside world. After leaving their former hideout, they’ve joined other survivors and gathered at a dilapidated stadium, but danger still lurks. The sequel delves deeper into how the characters confront external monsters and their own inner demons as they deal with the constant struggle to keep the darkness at bay. It promises expanded world-building and storyline that introduces a whole new group of characters and monsters.
Director Lee Eung-bok describes the second season as a “full-fledged apocalyptic drama.”
