“Extraordinary Attorney Woo” has topped the weekly most buzzworthy drama ranking again, this time with a whopping buzz share of 53.86% according to analytics firm GOODDATA.
A share is the percentage of total online drama-related discussions in Korea that mention a specific show in a given period. Good Data measures this metric every week to gauge the popularity of the series in forums, social media, videos, and other online platforms.
During last week, from July 4 to 10, more than half of the total drama discussions was about the new legal series starring Park Eun-bin and Kang Tae-oh. Good Data analyzed a total of 21 dramas during this week.
This share of more than 50% makes “Extraordinary Attorney Woo” the most buzzworthy or talked about Korean drama this year to date, unseating previous no. 1 “Twenty Five Twenty One,” which recorded a peak share of 38.00% on its final week of broadcast. Meanwhile, tvN drama “Alchemy of Souls” placed second in the ranking with a share of 10.63%, followed by SBS’s “Why Her?” with 6.32%.
