Amid reports saying that Park Min-young and Yoo Yeon-seok will be starring in the upcoming tvN drama “MonWedFriTuesThursSat,” the actors responded through their respective agencies that they are still reviewing the casting offer to them.
Hook Entertainment said on February 17 that Park Min-young is “positively reviewing the offer.”
Likewise, Yoo Yeon-seok’s agency King Kong by Starship commented that “MonWedFriTuesThursSat” is one of the drama projects offered to and being considered by the actor.
“MonWedFriTuesThursSat” is a series that follows the life of Choi Sang-eun, a woman who offers a type of service that provides single men with a pretend partner they can take to family events, wedding, school reunions and other gatherings usually attended by a married couple.
Park Min-young has been offered the role of Sang-eun, a woman of many great qualities that make her the perfect pretend wife. She is fluent in different languages, skilled in various sports such as golf and fencing, and possesses amazing cooking skills. She uses her beauty and talent in helping men who do not want to get married but want to be acknowledged by society and their families.
Meanwhile, the details of the character offered to Yoo Yeon-seok remain under wraps.
Park Min-young is starring in the ongoing or currently airing Korean drama “Forecasting Love and Weather” opposite Song Kang. The actress headlined many popular dramas in the past namely “What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim” (2018), “Healer” (2014-2015), and “City Hunter” (2011).
Yoo Yeon-seok last appeared in “Hospital Playlist 2” (2021) and also previously starred in “Mr. Sunshine” (2018), “Dr. Romantic” (2016-2017), and “Reply 1994” (2013).
“MonWedFriTuesThursSat” will be helmed by director Nam Sung-woo of “Kkondae Intern” (2020) and “Kill It” (2019).
