All the Love You Wish For is a fantasy romantic comedy where a genie named Jinn (Kim Woo-bin), who has been asleep for a thousand years, wakes up to discover he’s now at the beck and call of Ka-young (Bae Suzy), a woman who isn’t exactly overflowing with emotions. As Jinn has to grant Ka-young three wishes, things get complicated – and magical.
The series is the latest project of Kim Eun-sook, the award-winning writer behind critically acclaimed dramas such as The Glory (2023-2024), Mr. Sunshine (2018), Goblin (2016-2017), and Descendants of the Sun (2016). It is helmed by Lee Byung-hun, who previously directed the Netflix original series Chicken Nuggets (2024) and the box office hit Extreme Job (2019).
This marks the drama reunion of Kim Woo-bin (Black Knight) and Bae Suzy (Doona!), who starred opposite each other in the 2016 romantic series Uncontrollably Fond.
Netflix officially announced the production of the drama and its cast lineup on May 20, 2024.
