Set three years after the events of season 2, Dr. Romantic 3 follows the stories of dedicated doctors working at the underfunded and poorly equipped Doldam hospital in the countryside. The hospital is on the brink of a big transformation as it prepares to open a Regional Trauma Center, a dream that has been long-held by the highly skilled and triple board-certified surgeon Kim Sa-bu. With the new center, the hospital can finally provide critical care to more patients suffering from major traumatic injuries. As the doctors face new challenges and difficult decisions, they must rely on their knowledge, expertise, and compassion to save lives and uphold their commitment to the oath of medicine.
Dr. Romantic 3 premiered on April 28, 2023, the same day that PD Yoo In-shik won Best Director in TV at the 59th Baeksang Arts Awards for his work on “Extraordinary Attorney Woo.” He won the same prestigious award in 2017 for Dr. Romantic 1.

Disappointing 1st episode
1st episode does not bring up the anticipation towards the 3rd season.
The lead lady over acts, unnatural whenever she shows up on screen.
