Actor Seo Kang-joon has completed his mandatory military service and will return to civilian life on Monday. Having enlisted in the army as an active-duty soldier on November 23, 2021, Seo has dutifully served for roughly 18 months.
Even during his service, Seo Kang-joon continued to connect with his fans through his previously completed projects. He was featured in the movie “A Year-End Medley” (2021) and starred in the original Disney+ series “Grid” (2022) opposite actress Kim Ah-joong.
In “A Year-End Medley”, Seo played Lee Kang, a successful singer and popular DJ, showcasing his on-screen chemistry with co-star Lee Kwang-soo. In “Grid”, he took on the role of Kim Sae-ha, a tenacious ghost tracker and a staff member of the Grid management bureau.
Seo Kang-joon made his initial foray into the entertainment industry in 2013 as a member of the group 5urprise. He soon transitioned into acting with the web drama “After School: Lucky or Not” (2013). He subsequently appeared in the film “The Beauty Inside” (2015) and made a mark in dramas like “Cheese in the Trap” (2016), “Are You Human?” (2018), and most recently “When the Weather Is Fine” (2020). With his military obligations completed, fans eagerly anticipate his return to acting.
